Ne možemo garantirati da se tako osjećaju svi ljubitelji čitanja, ali nama se uvijek čini da smo par knjiga prekratki. Kroz koliko god knjiga prošli, uvijek postoji još nekoliko njih koje su nam promakle. Ovdje ćemo vam zato dati u ruke prvu ratu našeg izbora prošlogodišnjih priča i novela, spomenutih u posljednjem članku. Pa, da rasčistimo repove od lani.

Ted Chiang se drži one Piši malo, piši dobro, pa je u zadnjih dvadeset godina objavio samo dvanaest priča i novela. Iako piše na kapaljku, nagrade sakuplja lopatom; pola napisanog je osvojilo ukupno dvanaest nagrada. Kako nam se čini, novela The Lifecycle of Software Objects će sigurno nastaviti taj trend.
